My name is, Kara Poates.  I have been an avid fan of photography for many years.  In one sense, my photographs have become my diary.  Whether it be chronicling a family reunion or taking a snapshot of a gorgeous sunset.  Each picture is more than just a simple picture--it can be a reference point to special memories that were never meant to be forgotten.
